Donations to the Northwest Food Coalition are fully tax-deductible -they are received under the 501c3 of our fiduciary Northwest Michigan Community Action Agency EIN 38-2027389
Donate funds to the Farm2Neighbor Program. These funds are used to purchase the highest quality foods from local farms, which will be distributed to the pantries and meal sites across 6 counties of Northwest Michigan served by the Northwest Food Coalition. Access to healthy food has a strong positive impact on the health outcomes of low-income clients.
Donate funds for the General Fund of the Northwest Food Coalition. Five percent of donated funds are used for coalition administration. The remainder is distributed equally annually to the roughly 70 members of the food coalition. Coalition members are able to use their share of the General Fund distribution for their greatest need which may include shelf-stable food items, personal hygiene items, diapers, and others.
